Test your knowledge of Anthony Trollope’s life and works, Christmas traditions and Victorian literature in the Trollope Society Christmas Quiz. There are no prizes. It is all about enjoyment, good company and the Christmas spirit, and a lively way to join fellow Trollopians from around the world for some festive fun.

Apologies for the error in the recent e-newsletter, which incorrectly gave the day as Monday. The event is on Tuesday 30 December.

How it works

At the start of the event participants will be assigned a team by the Quizmaster. Each group will nominate a member to complete the online quiz on the group’s behalf. You will be able to discuss and confer in your group, but we ask that you do not use the internet to find the answers.

There will be questions testing your knowledge of:

• Christmas traditions
• The life and works of Anthony Trollope
• Other Victorian novels and novelists

Registration information

• There is no charge for this event, but we would be grateful if you would consider making a donation.
• Participants will be assigned a team by the Quizmaster.
• If you would like to be in the same team as friends and family, please provide the name of your team leader when you register. Each group can have up to six participants.
• If you would like to join the quiz but prefer not to compete, you can join the Quiz Master’s non-competing team.
• We will send you an email with instructions on how to join.
• Please note that you will not be able to join the meeting until 6.00pm (UK time) on the day.
