North West Reading Group ~ Dr Wortle’s School

The North West Reading Group will be meeting to discuss Dr Wortle’s School on Thursday 7th December 2023 at 6.00 for 6.30pm. The venue is Friends’ Meeting House, 6 Mount Street, Manchester M2 5NS

Dr Wortle’s School was published in book format as a two volume novel  by Chapman and Hall, 1881. Originally published in Blackwood’s Magazine, May-Dec. 1880.

Trollope Society Reading Groups

Reading groups are a great way to read Trollope. With so many novels to choose from they provide an excellent reason to read the lesser well known works, as well as to re-read the favourites. They are a friendly and relaxed way to enjoy Trollope, share your thoughts as well as find out more from other enthusiasts.

Non-members of the Society are very welcome to come to a group. If you enjoy it, please ask afterwards for details of membership.

Price £5 to be collected on the day.
