The Trollope Society is a member of the Alliance of Literary Societies (ALS), the umbrella organisation for literary societies. The next ALS Annual Gathering and AGM weekend (17th-19th May 2024) will be hosted by the Arthur Ransome Society in Bowness-on-Windermere.

Members of the Trollope Society are invited to attend.

The weekend includes:

• Friday 17th May – Two course dinner at the Old England Hotel, 23 Church Street, Bowness-on-Windermere LA23 3DF
• Saturday 18th May – The ALS AGM and conference will be at Windermere Jetty Museum, Rayrigg Road, Bowness-on-Windermere LA23 1BN. Followed by an optional three-course dinner at The Boathouse, Windermere Marina Village, Bowness LA23 3JQ.
• Sunday 19th May – There are a variety of options for Sunday.  All of these are to book yourself.  They are centred around Coniston, a thirty-minute drive from Bowness.

• Please visit the ALS website and book by completing the registration form and paying by one of the methods given. 
• The last date for bookings is Friday 12th April.
• Full details of venues, directions and menu choices will be sent to you once you have booked.
