Anthony Trollope: A Companion

Nicholas Birns and John Wirenius are the editors of the forthcoming Anthony Trollope: A Companion. Part of the Macfarland Companions to 19th Century Literature series the companion includes  essays on every novel, short story collection, and nonfiction subject, as well as entries on people, places, institutions, and contexts important for Trollope.

Nicholas Birns is on the faculty of New York University’s Center for the Applied Liberal Arts and is the author and editor of many journal articles and books.

John F. Wirenius is a lawyer, deacon and novelist who is based in Albany, New York. He is the author of a novel continuing Trollope’s Palliser series, and of other books and articles on legal and religious issues intersecting with Trollope’s concerns.
