Father of Anty and Barry. As agent of Captain O’KeIly, he had succeeded in converting a large share of the estate into a fortune for himself. In a fit of anger with his son, he left half the estate to his daughter. Barry’s efforts to obtain his sister’s share provides the plot of The Kellys and the O’Kellys.
