Jones, Florian

The ten-year-old son of Philip Jones, whose conversion to Catholicism gave him a feeling that he must stand by his Catholic friends even at the expense of his own father. On breaking his vow to protect Pat Carroll and other Landleaguers, and giving evidence against them, he was shot and killed by one of their number.
