Seminar Groups

Seminar groups are a great way to read Trollope. With so many novels to choose from they provide an excellent reason to read the lesser well known works, as well as to reread the favourites. Each seminar is lead by one of the members of the group, and everyone’s participation is welcomed.

Seminar groups are a friendly and relaxed way to enjoy Trollope, share your thoughts as well as find out more from other enthusiasts. We have seminar groups in London, Manchester, Oxford, Cambridge, York and Edinburgh, as well as social groups in New York and Boston.

Many of the groups arrange to go for dinner at a local restaurant after the meeting, to continue the discussion and enjoy the company of fellow Trollopians.

Each seminar group makes a charge for attending of between £3 and £12, depending on the cost of the venue and catering arrangements. Dinners after the meetings are optional and paid for by those attending.

Seminar groups are run by the Trollope Society for Society members, but non members are welcome to attend a meeting before joining the society.
