Characters and Place Names
by Michael G Williamson
Anthony Trollope originally intended that The Duke’s Children should be a comprehensive conclusion of the Palliser Series and also indulged his well-loved preference for re-introducing characters and place-names from previous novels. The list below includes all the characters, together with some of the significant place-names appearing in the book together with references to novels in which they also appear (in italics). A key to the novels referred to can be found at the end of the index.
You can use our Books and Characters database to explore the characters that appear in The Duke’s Children
