There have been numerous radio and television adaptations of Anthony Trollope's novels. Here we take a look at some of the recent dramatisations on the BBC, and look forward to ITV's first foray into Barsetshire with Dr Thorne.

With Melmotte I just had Trollope's one novel, which made it all the more important to be as accurate to the original as possible. When you're doing characters from famous novels, you have a responsibility as an actor to make it what the writer intended.
