Oxford Seminar Group – Dr Wortle’s School

The next meeting of the Oxford Seminar Group will be held at St Edmunds Hall on Thursday October 12th. The leader will be Patricia Stefanowicz

We meet at 5.00 for tea and cakes, and the discussion will start at 5.30.

The subject is Dr Wortle’s School.

Please let Primrose Campbell at alaprim@hotmail.com with a copy to martin.chown@cantab.net know whether you can come. As usual, we’d like to know whether you prefer sandwiches to cakes with the afternoon tea.
The charge for the seminar is £10, payable on the day.

Trollope Society Seminar Groups

Seminar groups are run by the Trollope Society. Seminar groups are a great way to read Trollope. With so many novels to choose from they provide an excellent reason to read the lesser well known works, as well as to reread the favourites! Each seminar is led by one of the members of the group, and everyone’s participation is welcomed. They are a friendly and relaxed way to enjoy Trollope, share your thoughts as well as find out more from other enthusiasts.

Non-members of the Society are very welcome to come to a seminar. If they enjoy it and want to come to this or other events in future please ask afterwards for details of membership. Martin Chown can be contacted at martin.chown@cantab.net
