Over the last three years we have read 15 of Trollope’s novels together on Zoom. We have held more than 70 meetings and the group has benefited from fascinating introductions from dozens of volunteers.

We’re now seeking volunteers for the Big Read 2024 Zoom programme to introduce our discussion on the past two weeks’ chapters. You may choose to explore emerging themes, delve into character intricacies, explore historical context, or dissect any noteworthy aspect of the readings. The only thing that we ask is that you don’t discuss the plot beyond the chapters we have read, and avoid any contemporary political references.
