Hampstead, Lord

The courtesy title of John Trafford, eldest son of the Marquis of Kingsbury. He was a close friend of George Roden, although he considered George presumptuous in wishing to marry his sister Lady Frances. His love for Marion Fay, daughter of a Quaker clerk in the City, ended unhappily, as Marion refused to marry him, knowing she was soon to die.
